Refund and cancellation policy
TinkiRent is paid for one billing period at a time: on the plan on sale today, that is every month. This page says what happens to a period you have paid for if you cancel, and it says it here so that you read it before you pay rather than afterwards.
Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not end the period you paid for
You can cancel at any time by writing to us at support@tinkinest.com. Cancelling means no further charge is taken. It does not shorten the billing period you have already paid for: you keep the service, and every unit on it, until that period ends.
A charged period is not refunded
We do not refund a billing period once it has been charged, in full or in part, and we do not pro-rate. The counterpart is that we do not take anything away in the middle of one either — not a unit, not a feature, and not your records.
This is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight. A service priced per unit per period, unpicked by the day, is worse for both of us than a period that simply means what it says.
The autopay set-up payment
When you set up autopay, our payment provider, Razorpay, may take a small amount to check your payment method. Razorpay refunds it. It is not a charge for TinkiRent, and this policy does not apply to it.
If you stop the autopay at your bank or UPI app
Stopping the autopay mandate is not the same as cancelling with us, and it does not refund anything. The period you have paid for still runs to its end. After that no charge can be taken, so your subscription ends unless you set up autopay again.
If we get the charge wrong
If you are charged an amount that does not match the rate and the number of units you agreed, tell us and we will correct it and refund the difference. That is a billing error, not a cancellation, and this policy does not limit it.
What is never charged
There is no transaction fee. TinkiRent takes nothing from the rent your tenants pay, adds nothing to what a tenant owes, and never holds, pools or routes that money. Where you collect through a payment provider, that provider settles directly to your own account under your own agreement with them, and any charge they make is theirs and is disclosed by them.
Your records after you leave
Ending a subscription does not delete your ledger. You can export it, and you can keep seeing your history and recording money you have already received. Some records may be retained where the law requires it, and we will tell you which.
